		<description>i agree, having some $ in a Roth IRA for emergencies are fine, but there is no way i&#039;m putting ALL of it in there.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;i actually *just* opened up a &lt;b&gt;money market&lt;/b&gt; account and hustled all my Emergency Fund cash from my savings into into it.  unlike the Roth, you can add and take from it as needed!  lower yields of course, but at least it&#039;s more dependable.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;i love it :)</description>

<p>i actually *just* opened up a <b>money market</b> account and hustled all my Emergency Fund cash from my savings into into it.  unlike the Roth, you can add and take from it as needed!  lower yields of course, but at least it&#8217;s more dependable.</p>

		<description>I&#039;m of a similar school of thought,  my emergency fund will eventually have about six months of expenses.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Should something happen that eats through that fund / any other liquidity I have, then it&#039;d be time to look at raiding the Roth.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;I think it also depends on your definition of emergency.   I budget for car emergency&#039;s,  vet emergency&#039;s and such so it&#039;d be a disaster to get me to break the bank on my emergency fund.</description>
