I agree, I think paying for a good experience (and peace of mind!) is great – especially when it comes to our health.

OH, I’m so sorry to hear about your horrible experience with the first dentist. Take it from someone who had brace 3 times and has had 5 different gum grafting experiences, I know what you mean when you say night and day difference between the service you can receive by different professionals. Glad you found someone who was so accommodating.

I’ll second that. My dentist stopped taking my health insurance so I switched dentists and had a horrible experience just for a routine cleaning!! I picked up the extra dental insurance and went back to my original dentist… so worth it to me. I hate going to the dentist… I don’t hate my dentist though! He takes great care of me, so if it costs a little extra it is worth it to me!

I know exactly what you mean! The good doctors are so hard to find, but you’re so appreciative when you find one that is doing a great job. We decided against a pediatrician for my son and went with a family doctor (who has a DO and not MD). We can get in on the same day, usually don’t have to wait, and she is very thorough (even using reference books to double check scripts). We see the same doctor and nurse each time – can’t put a price tag on that!
