I aslo found a new free service to get the best CD rates out there though an auction. I got a 4.25% on 6-mon CD. THey are like an eBay for CD and savings rates. I heard about it on Fox News. The site is Moneyaisle.com. Check it out.</description>

		<description>I agree about the second 3 months of expenses. CDs are a nice place to keep you from touching them unless they&#039;re really necessary. But hopefully even getting money out of a CD early (if it&#039;s a big emergency) is more attractive than a loan...even with the penalty.
