I have a number of things I am stashing but in reality don't even get used but I am working on simplifying and de-cluttering my house. Methodically, I am going through all my rooms and it's getting much nicer.

yarn and needlework supplies/projects. I have been shoppping from the stash this year. I can only buy to complete things, not for new projects. So far it’s working out!

I am a one project at a time knitter so I don’t have a stash of yarn. Chocolate, tape and a few pens are all hidden from the kids so I can find thme when I need them.

I used to have a stock of books until I realized that new book don’t hold their value and the library is free.

I have a scrapbook stash and a yarn stash. I’d probably have a computer stash and stash of books about computers if they weren’t so expensive.

I buy stuff all the time that I intend to use and then never do. That’s when I donate them, honestly.

But one thing I have a stash of is web site ideas. LOL I know it seems funny, but if I could just get on it already, I’d probably be making some extra money. I also have some domain names I’ve purchased and then never used. So sad.

I stash yarn too. Not that I crochet much any more – carpal tunnel – but even last weekend, I bought two more skeins of blue. Like I don’t have any blue anywhere. I’m hoping to get one of those short-cut knitters but money’s tight this year.

I have another stash addiction: everything else. I see a bargain, I buy it. We’ll always need candles and matches and rubber gloves and canning jar lids and bandaids and canned fruit and rice and salt and .. you get the point. We do eventually use everything, but I seem to buy at a faster rate than we use.

I am a knitter too! I try to keep my stash down but it’s so hard. I used to go to these knit nights once a week, but I started buying yarn each week, and you know how expensive local yarn stores are! I have to go to Michael’s now if I want yarn. I’ve heard knitpicks is good too!

I definitely do that. I look at what I have before I buy more supplies.

BF goes a bit further. He has kept track of EVERY SINGLE THING that he owns.

I mean. EVERYTHING. And he checks his list before buying something
