I had this happen to me too recently and ended up with a severe allergic reaction. I am on antibiotics and steroids. Not fun. What’s worse, there was some miscommunication ’cause I did not ask for the wax job, so $6 resulted in about $1500 of medical expenses and lost time from work. I am never waxing again!!

Oh, Megan I am so sorry! I’ve had estheticians try that on me, too. It’s just them trying to make more money, I guess. I have resisted so far – I’m actually sorry I ever started plucking/waxing my brows. They were normal before but now they are insane if I don’t keep up with them.

Not a good thing to happen! It sounds like the wax was either too hot or cold and she messed up the process. It should take 3 swipes for a stash one on each side and one in the center. Plus it helps if they put pressure on it right after its done.

I have to ask, did you leave the house at all on the week-end?
