Do any of you have a problem with unwanted advice? I have a few coworkers who are always offering unsolicited and unwanted advice. Now, I know they mean well, and I appreciate that. They aren’t advising me based on any personal gain for themselves (unlike the former coworker who always advised me to use specific Mary Kay [...] As I’m writing this, I just got back from the grocery store. I had a 5% off coupon good for my entire purchase (with some exceptions, of course). The coupon was set to expire on 12/25, and I wasn’t sure when I would have time to do a serious shop before then, so when the [...] Unrelated to anything I wanted to write about today, how are you referring to the year 2010? It’s been a bit of a debate in our office lately. We don’t have to have an official way to say it, but it’s interesting to see all the variety. This year, 2009, is “oh-nine.” [...] This has not been the world’s best week. Yesterday, I woke up to find water running down the wall in my kitchen. Not exactly what you want to see at 6 in the morning. Or ever, really. So it turns out that the people upstairs had a leak in their kitchen.
